Is a black hole a perfect sphere?
No matter how perfect we make a ball of iron it'll never be a mathematically perfect sphere because it's basically made out of atoms. But how about black holes?

Re: Neutrino detector like object?
If it was like that then it'll be a hard job digging and moving the huge thing underground... Does anybody watch the movie in the homepage yet? Fake or real it's cool. And oh, actually making that kind of picture in photoshop is not that hard so yeah, without a serious investigation it's hard to tel...

Neutrino detector like object?
AAARGH  I can't stand it anymore! I'm so confused! So, I bet most of you guys know about neutrino detector (you know, the strange sphere filled with heavy water to detect solar neutrino). Well, i don't really understand why should we study solar neutrino and oh, I don't need answer cause that's...

Re: When celestia could be like this?
I have no intention in making texture for celestia. Oh, I think you misunderstand my image is using a texture. The vue planet thing doesn't use a texture . It's a mesh. The closer you get the mountains start to form. So there's no possible way to make that a texture... =P That's what I like about vu...

Re: When celestia could be like this?
Yo, What do you mean about flat projections? The texture is completely procedural I guess. No UVW map used... I use procedural infinite terrain and project it to spherical terrain, and add a planetary cloud. Vue Is pretty impressive, the spectral 3 cloud is very realistic. Uh... the render time... m...

Re: Cloud map texture in Lunarcell. How to create it?
Well, I use Photoshop... The only easy way is to make 2 layers and create the cloud in the second layer.. (if there's a layer named 'background' and it's locked, just delete it and create 2 new layer.. That's what I normally do..) Edit: After you're done, right click on the second layer and choose '...

Re: Very simple radio telescope
Hmm... that's pretty similar to the paper model you've created recently... Is it on Earth? There's no atmosphere... :? Edit: Errm.. I've tried it but.. 2010-12-24_081132.jpg It's flying... Or is it? Edit once more (sorry): There's more, I've got a screenshot here, showing the reflector, but.... 2010...
